Jeff Miller's Big Idea Creativity seeking form

My name is Jeffrey Miller. I live in North Lewisburg, Ohio with my lovely wife Karla and our multitude of pets (3 dogs and 2 cats). By trade, I am a software developer, and I consult for the Allen, Williams and Hughes Company in and around Columbus, Ohio.

I primarily use Microsoft technologies for my day job (lots of C# and MSSQL database stuff), but I have broad exposure and interests in other platforms and technologies, specifically Linux and various other open source tools, like PHP and MySQL. As you may guess from this website, I also like and use Drupal quite a bit.

I graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio (now DeVry University) with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Since then, I have worked in IT consulting in a broad range of application development assignments, including client/server, database, web, and mobile device applications.

I attend church at Christian Assembly in Marysville, Ohio, where I maintain the website and participate in the music (singing and playing the bass guitar). I'm also an Ohio State Buckeye football fan.

My father, Samuel Miller, is a minister/evangelist and author (see Facebook page) of "Night of Tears, Years of Joy", and my mother, Connie Miller, teaches fourth grade for the Greeneview school system in Jamestown, Ohio. My only brother, Rich, lives in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, with his wife Rachel.
